Ryan Keberle Double Quartet
In forming the Ryan Keberle Double Quartet Ryan has combined his passions for jazz improvisation, pop and rock compositions, and classical sensibilities to create an exciting and enjoyable listening experience.
The arrangements, done by Mr. Keberle, focus on his own original material, and that of other great song writers such as Lennon and McCartney, Wayne Shorter, and Brad Mehldau. The ensemble, which consists of a jazz quartet (piano, bass, drums, and trombone) and a brass quartet (trumpet, French horn, trombone, and tuba), includes some of the most talented young jazz musicians in the world. Members of the band currently play with Charlie Haden, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, the Maria Schneider Orchestra, Barbara Streisand, the Lincoln Center Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, the Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Carla Bley, Greg Osby, Jeff “Tain” Watts, the New Jersey Symphony, Henry Threadgill, Jimmy Bosch, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra and various Broadway Musicals.
